Welcome to Gîte Ultreïa , holiday house and hostel since 2010 for pilgrims and hikers in Saint Jean Pied de Port in the Basque Country.

Ideally located just a stone’s throw from the church, in the heart of the old district, the house is in one of the village’s oldest homes. Entirely restored and refurbished, this beautiful four-storey residence is now a comfortable and warm house for 15 people.

The gite is a house, comfortably furnished,for staying for one night or even more if you wish. At the foot of the house, in the alleys, are the restaurants, shops and other services of this small fortified town, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France.

Whether it is for the Way of Compostela, the GR 10 or to stay in the Basque Country, Argitxu will help you to prepare your next day's mountain stage or your stay in the Basque Pyrenees.
